Vaginal sores

Hi. I have these sores on my labia that have turned from paper cut-like to open wounds/ulcers. I’ve had the paper cut tears before, the first time I ever noticed it was October 2016 and I got them swabbed but everything was negative, I’ve also been tested 3 more times since then and everything always comes back negative. I’ve been with my boyfriend for nearly a year and have been sleeping together since August 2017 (my last test was October17) and I would get the tears from what I assumed was unlubricated sex and I would just tell him to be gentle and they’d heal pretty quickly. He has oral herpes and has had it since he was a child from his mother but he hasn’t had a sore since we’ve been together and doesn’t have one now so I can’t see how I could get it from him now. My Clitoritis is always extremely tender/sensitive in a very painful way. It didn’t hurt to pee at first but now the whole opening of my vagina stings. I’m in Norway (his home country) have been for two weeks and will be for another month so I rather not see a doctor but it’s not healing and this is day 3.

(Other info: I’m on my last repeat of isotretinoin/roaccutane (very strong acne medication) and it’s very cold here so I thought that combination might be drying me out and causing the tears but they’ve turned into these huge wounds :’(

I’ve also had thrush multiple times since starting the medication. I can’t see how to add a photo?

Also I don’t have any blistering or scabs they all started as tears and I’ve only just got a red pimple looking thing today on my public hair region I don’t know if that’s what the start of herpes looks like? There’s only one

I just read somewhere else, to add a photo you have to be on a laptop or computer.

When mine first popped up, it wasn’t painful at all. And it just looked like a pimple.

From what I’ve read on here as well, if it’s been swabbed I think it needs to be at the peak of the infection (someone correct me if I’m wrong) but it either needs to be at the beginning stages for a swab or when you’ve got an active blister that they can take the fluid from.

I am otherwise unsure. I think you should just go to the doctor while you’re there just to be sure!

I hope it doesn’t get any worse for you, & enjoy your holiday x

      Thanks for you reply smile

I’ll try to get onto a computer. As mentioned my boyfriend (and his mother) have herpes and he says if he was in contact with it his would flare up immediately, we’ve had oral sex and penetration when I first had these tears since I get them every now and then so it’s no concern and he hasn’t flared up on his genitals or his mouth so I’m praying it’s not herpes. However his mother had an active sore within this last week but I can’t think of anything I’ve come in contact with down there that she would have touched

Sounds like you have a bladder infection, is the water cloudy when you pee ? also you can get herpes if its shedding with out a sore or if he is a carrier, he should do Valtrex once a day to help keep it in check so as to not give it to you. hope this helps you.
