Visit to physio-terrorist

HI all, thought I would keep you up to date don't seem to have put much on here lately. Well, I have had a visit to Banham Zoo, Iwe have also been to see the household cavalry mounted regiment, who had an open day in Norfolk and also did the musical ride which has been performed since 1885 and can be found on utube,  and yesterday I walked round Peterborough with my aunt and uncle. Today I am knackered to say the least lol.

I have today been to see the physio, who is quite happy with how I am getting on but the muscle round my buttock doesn't want to move or get better like we want it to. The excersies he gave me two weeks ago are working but at a slower pace than he would like. Anyway, he has now put me down for gym excersises in a couple of weeks time for 6 weeks, if after that time I am still struggling with it they will refer me for hydrotherapy for 6 weeks. The amount of walking I'm doing he says is really good and to carry on with that. Personally I just wish that the fluid swelling would disappear and allow me to get different shoes on. at the moment I can only wear sandles that have velcro fastenings.

Pleased to say Alan keeps improving and we are both getting better by the day. I have bought a new car an automatic and am enjoying driving once more, (not driven since last September). All in all everything is going great and improving slowly, I am only 9 weeks post op on Thursday, yet it feels longer sometimes, on the whole I am pleased with what I'm doing as long as I progress I don't mind how long it takes. Love to all pre and post op hippies Gill xxxxx

Glad you have been having some nice days out.

As for the swelling you have I would get that checked out by your GP you could have water retention also known as odema and may need some water tablets to shift it. That is what I am going to have to do.

Glad Alan is improving. That is great news and you are doing well with your walking. x
