Hey guys, I'm an 18 year old who recently started college. Over the summer, I started having constant debilitating anxiety attacks. About a month ago, I was prescribed Zoloft. It's helped a lot with my anxiety, but I've noticed a few things, namely that I occasionally get dull headaches, have a bit of trouble with my memory, and I often see a visual aura (colors and spots in my field of vision) the aura usually is most active when I am stressed. Is this normal? Stress or possible Zoloft side effects?

Hey there, I haven't lost a ton of weight, but I definitely have a reduced appetite. The side effects are so annoying.

Sure, these drugs are going to help a tad, but its only putting a bandaid on it temporaraly ... Please go and get a second and third opinion . Try the books and online programs just like they can teach people not to be afraid of flying . Your much too young not to try ither things first
There are ALWAYS sude effects to and mood altering drug .

Because it started when I started taking my medicine. I'm not worried about something being wrong with my vision.

I am with you
We all are most likely gtreat at what we do meaning our professions .
Mine being a long time realtor
But what i am NOT , is a Dr .
I understand though, people with problems or illnesses want to relate or ask questions of someone with possibly the same symptoms , it does help, and the well wishes are a comfort for the soul but when you have something that doesn't quite fit into say " Panic/Anxiety" symptoms and especially your precious eye sight , no one in this thread in my humbke opinion is expert enough to give a diagnosis or suggestion .... They might just be floaters but i myself would want this checked .
