    Hi Tiswas, I have so much music from the 70's and early 80's that I love I remember always dancing around the house. I loved going to discos lol. Ok so fav songs:

      i am such a big fan of music i love so many artists and groups from all decades, i love protest songs from dylan and donavon, my faverate being is eve of destruction barry Mcgurie ,and universal soldier donavon

      where have all the protest songs gone about war . 

      loved the stones ,rod and faces, billy furry, lulu,sandy shaw, just so many id bore you stupid , i loved anything on motown ,and soul, blues, swing and jazz .but i dont do classical i find that all so depressing .razz

    did anyone have bovril in hot milk 

    it sounds awful but apparently it was very popular in the past 

    esp when you were sick , sounds like it would make me sick.

      As I'm in Australia and Vegemite is everywhere, I loved it as a hot drink made with boiling water, then dipping fingers of plain bread in it..sooo yummy, still is, but I just don't like that much salt in my diet now...it's really good for gravies and as a beef stock  too.... But our vegie is such an acquired taste..lots hate it as do many many loveit...:-) xxxx it's great to take our minds of our health issues tiswas, thanks.....

      i prefer our marmite but its far to high in salt for me but yes it was tasty they sell your vegemate in uk iv tried it but its still to salty . boveril is beef extract.

    Yes, twist and shout plus I love the beetles. My son is talking me to see Paul Simon and sting in a couple of months if I manage to have a 'good day'.

    bovril in milt sounds disgusting haha. We had cod liver oil capsules, virol in milk, glycerine lemon and honey if ill and rosehip juice.

      i no it sounds awful just wondered if anyone can remember having it and what it was like.and why!  iv heard of virol not sure what it was ,eek
