well my first week is done. Feeling anxious today and have been having morbid feelings of dying. Days 3-5 were ok but now feel very low and anxious. Work has let me go and I cannot get any benefits. Been down all routes. Just feel this is going to last forever. Feel helpless, paranoid and sad. Maybe it's just today. I really hope so. My self esteem is very low and I keep thinking I'm going to have a heart attack. Gawwwdddd what the hell is going on??? Too much on my plate for my head to handle.😞 hope you all ok and thanks for the earlier messages. This forum is just what I need right now.

You have got lots going on so no wonder you're feeling anxious and down. Sorry to hear about your work :-(
The fluox can magnify those feelings for the first few weeks or even more but stick with it, you can and will get better!
Did the right thing. A walk in the fresh air is the perfect thing to do, work off some of the excess adrenaline and distract your mind (if you walk in a park or fields nature is proven to help calm and lift the mood).
It can be a long process but over time you will eventually notice your symptoms getting better one by one and you'll have more n more good days. In the meantime be kind to yourself, keep distracted and keep walking or whatever exercise you can.
Hope you have a speedy recovery . take care

im kind of here by default, i came looking for help when my 19yr old daughter began with depression. weeks 1 & 2 were hard going, she had awful palputaions, sweats, yawning, anxiety when leaving the house, cried constantly, and saw imaginary things, like smoke coming off a mirror! she had constant thourghts of dying(not her ) sort of family memebers, but me mostly.Â
i noticed from day 9 that there was a tiny improvement, and she has carried on improving, different side effects each day, until now, which is week 9, from week 5 she was really doing well.
hang on in there, practise breathing slowly, dont feel bad if you need a sofa or blanket day, its fine, go with how you feel, BUT try and do a little something each day, set a goal, a little walk, a shower, changing the beds, anything,
daughter didnt want to eat, but now she has got a really sweet tooth, and is eating well. mornings were the worst, but it wore off, and she always picked up after a few hours.
good luck, your not alone on your journey, xx
