week 11 ( i think ) for daughter

Posted , 3 users are following.

another good week, and finally some sleep, a few nights of unbroken sleep, how brilliant is that! no headaches, or serious shakes, strangley her legs always shake when coming up or down the stairs,

its lovely to see  her back to herself, but i do notice changes in her thinking/behaviour/attitude. before, she was very careful with money, always has been, resented spending a tenner, now she just doesnt care, and is buying allsorts,

she had a meltdown one night, but that was due to her boyfriend and her having a tiff and it was as if the world was ending.her reactions were much more emotional than normal .the following day, she was shakey, and spent the day under the trusty blanket sat by the fire....

she also still has a chocolate craving, but it hasnt seemed as bad this week, so another plus.

so, the recovary seems to be going well, i just have some niggles about her carefree spending, its really not like her.

keep smiling, stay safe, xx

Glad she's doing well Karen, and recovery is slowly happening.

Spending money is retail therapy, something that makes us all a little happy.  I expect it gives her a little boost :-)  My son is doing the same I notice too ..... little packages arrive by post every now and then, or he'll buy something if we go out.  Long as it's not massively overspending, I'm happy to see him enjoying his purchases, but keep an eye on it too.

I think whilst nerves are still so raw, little upsets will rock the boat more than usual.

Chocolate ...... now that's unusual.  The body likes a sugar boost as it makes us feel good ... maybe her body was crying out for some, and will possibly settle as she gets better.  Chocolate though mmmmmmmmmm :-)

My son is plodding along ok.  Not weepy, but quiet.  I know he's troubled still, but seems calmer than a few weeks ago.  Fingers crossed he'll slowly get back to where he was before Xmas.

    This damned illness eh :-/

awwww kate, maybe now xmas is done your son can get back into routine, and will improve, escpecially now the nights are getting lighter.

her spending does worry me, its so not her, and she has had her car 1 year, and is now wanting to spend thousands( that she doesnt have) on getting another one.

she is a little down after another  bad night, and had some chest pains yesterday which are a new one on us, but they soon wore off.

she is winding herself up about swapping her car, so im expecting some side effects to come creeping back along with anxiety.

well, heres to a good day for all of us my lovely! keep smiling. xx
