Hi Sharon, ive been on them now for nearly 4 weeks and have started to feel better in myself more happier definitely, but do suffer with a bad neck a few hours after taking them feels like stress at the back of your neck.  I am sleeping better the hot flushes are not as frequent, it's mainly one week out of four that i experienced really hot flushes but these are subsiding.  It sounds to me like the tablets are not for you may be go and speak with your GP as you have been on them longer than me and i feel much better.  Let me know how you get on.  T

Sometimes it's hard for me to determine whether it's the medication or the circumstances that allow me to feel better.  I guess i shouldn't question it though.  For whatever reasons, i'm feeling better now after about 8 weeks.  But I do feel extremely tired.  I don't have as much energy as i had before.  Since i used a lot of that energy to obsess and worry, i guess that's not such a bad thing.  smile

    Hi Sharon,

I have been taking Fluoxetine for 6 weeks now after suffering from anxiety. By week 4 I started to feel much more normal however I still suffer bouts of anxiety albeit nowhere near how they were. I am functioning normally now but feel flat! Did you find that you felt this way? How are you feeling now?

    Thanks Sally
