Weird throat sensation...

Good day ladies! So I know ive read only a handful of the ladies on here talk about the throat thing! If it isn't one thing its anotber and im telling you this one started last night and has my health anxiety overdrive..throat feels weird almost like a numbness feeling to it maybe a bit swollen feeling, I'm not sick or coming down with anything, but does feel like a lot of mucus and weirdly numb.. Does anyone get the weird throat feeling with their fluctuating hormones, and is this a symptom??

It doesn't feel like acid reflux to me. There's nothing acidic about it... Mine is just like what she said.. sometimes a little thickness and almost a numb feeling..

When my mom was diagnosed with cancer three years ago (before my peri symptoms started), I lost my voice for months. It went on for so long that I went to the doctor and had to have a scope up my nose and down my throat. I was asked if I was under any stress (yes, my mom had cancer!) and was diagnosed with GERD. I dismissed his diagnosis because I did not have heartburn or acid reflux or any other symptom other than a missing voice for months. Apparently, he could see on the scope that my esophagus and vocal cords were all inflamed. Long story short, you can suffer effects from GERD and not know it because it doesn't feel like GERD.

I've got it at moment! I keep feeling like I need to get mucas up and I'm actually giving myself a sore throat. It's that horrible swollen feeling, like I've a lump in my throat. I definitely think it's part of anxiety that comes with Peri!
