Went down on my synthroid.

The T4 was high.I feel very anxious,get agitated a lot,Don't get good sleep at night and am tired all day.I get prolonged hot flashes then have chills.My head is foggy,my eyes get blurry and my consentration is poor.also depressed.How long does it take for the good feeling to come back.

You will feel better when you get some help from a specialist and normalize your FT4 level

Hi Gail,
I have the same symptom like you after taking methimazole 5-10 mg for 2 months.
I dont have any idea when thesesymptom will be going away. I can not stand it anymore.
Hope for the best for both of us
Maybe RAI is another option.

  I hope for the best for you.When I went down on synthroid I was told it would take about one month to start noticing the difference.Looking forward to see if that will help.Hope things get better for both of us.God bless you
