That sounds very sad maccy for you to have gone through that. Did they check your blood count so you know whether or not you need some extra iron and anything else to get you blood count back up. It would make anyone very tired when you have heavy bleeding and blood loss like that. Make sure your blood count has been checked  if it hasn't.

                                              Blessings to you

It's a week today since my op. I'm still bleeding, but I'd say more like day 4 of period. I still feel that heavy feeling inside like something is coming down that I had before op. Hope it improves soon. I was very tired and weepy yesterday, but I do suffer from boredom and not being able to drive for 6 weeks will kill me.

So sorry to hear this maccy. I had to be cauterised 8 months following my prolapse repair. Fortunately it was just a small area and it was painless. I'd already returned to work. It's more common that patients realise. Prolapse surgery is major surgery so remember that whilst you are convalescing. Rest is the order of the day and as I always say to patients, listen to your body. If you are tired don't push yourself, that is Mother Nature telling you to rest. Eat lots of fruit and vegetables and don't forget you need protein to enable healing. Take care.

This makes me even more grateful that I'm English and for the National Health Service. Can't imagine what it's like having to pay for what I take for granted.
