So I'm very content to stay close to home.....flew for many many years....but this is my story.
I probably haven't had a cold in 20 some yrs.....I've been taking Grape Seed Extract, powerful antioxidant, and just stay healthy immune system wise...
The ear infection may need an antiobiotic, I had one probably 8 yrs ago when we had the March winds and my ear got an infection...tried like heck to get rid of it with alternatives but had to resort to an antiobiotic, which cleared it up right away.
Good to hear you have been feeling good, I was given the FM dx in 1999 but I believe it's been a milder case for me, but again I take a lot of supplements....and the grape seed ex for immune strength. j

Take some boiled sweets with you as your ears pop and it helps, its due to air pressure difference. X

thanks for your kind reply. yes my gp know i have ear infection and has given me a course of anti biotics which i am taking. think i may ring her on Monday and ask for a script for more tablets to take with me just in case as treatment in Turkey is very expensive. it cost my sister in law £420 3 years ago. i always take sweets with me but i dont seems to suffer from pressure (must have something to do with with the massive hole i have in my ear drum). will try and enjoy myself but will have to give the swiming pool a miss this year again as last year at the same i time i had ear infection must be jinxed.
kind regards

Bless you, definetely sounds like you need a holiday.
I would take some slow release vit C and Zinc to get your body supporting you again. Also probiotics too to support your immune system. Pre my diagnosis I did a 10 hour flight last December so I used heat pads and asked the cabin crew for ice when I needed that too as well as drinking plenty of water, exercising in my seat, getting up and keeping moving all really helped.
All the best and have a great holiday
