Okay so i've been dating some guy for a year . getting into the relationship i was clean , he was not . I didnt know that . 5 months into the relationship i was told by his family member he had genital herpes and he takes medication for it. I already had unprotected sex the whole time because he had shown me his HIV & STD papers .  Around Month 7 i had a tingly sensation in my vagina first , then i felt as if my vagina was swollen . I got this very bad Cervix Mucis , it isnt smooth , it had some little white chunks in it . My vagina also got very itchy aroung the opening and i had these little white things on them to. ( best way to explain : if youve ever opened your vagina and it looks like a flower blossoming , those little things ) . Well we brokeup a month ago and i went and had a threesome with another female and male . we used protection but now i think about it , protection in a threesome is pointless anyways, I started getting those same vagina symptoms but a little worst . Instead the Cervix Mucis is mixed to a pink color . burning is worst but thats all . I have yet to get actual warts & i have yet to get tested for herpes because i have no medical insurance . Any input would be grea!

ps ;  today after examining it, it was covered in thick , pasty cervix mucis , and in every little space and as far as can be reached . Everytime i cleaned it out , the toilet paper would come out drenched . i feel like its never stopping cervic mucis .

I also was diagnosed with a TUBO OVARIAN ABSCESS 2 months ago .

It may not be herpes and could be a bad yeast infection (at least the first time), but the only way to know for sure and to address what's wrong is to get tested and treated, I'm afraid. And it does sound like you need to have that looked at. Pink mucous indicates blood, which could be from physical trauma or some other infection/issue, etc. I would refrain from sex until you get that sorted out.

is it possible not to contract herpes type 2 from a year of unprotected sex with someone who has it ? only reason i would think this is because before him , ive never had these experiences .

It's possible, especially as he was supposedly on medication for it the whole time, but it's really impossible to say one way or the other, because herpes doesn't always cause obvious or recognisable symptoms. Your issues could be related or they could be entirely unrelated. In any case, I would be concerned about the pink mucous.

If he was on medication and you never say any symptoms then your chances are very low.

Out of curiosity, was there no herpes result on the sti papers you saw? Why would they not include it, if he has it, unless it was performed by a separate provider than the diagnosing provider and the separate Dr. follows a no-screen policy? Assuming the family has correct information.
