What happens if someone 'double-doses'?

Just curious to see if anyone here has taken twice their normal dose (by mistake or on purpose) and if any effects happened?

Strange question I know but was just curious smile

Umm should have thought of that lol.

Say a person is taking 20mg and then takes 40mg the next day?

The best thing to do is phone NHS Direct and ask them or if really concerned take them to their nearest A&E.

Just ask your Dr Ghost. I was taking 20mg for 2 weeks, felt crap, went back to Dr's who doubled the dose to 40 mg. I just think everyone's different and reacts different ways to different dosages.

Im still on 40 and it's going well. I believe you can take as much as 80 - if prescribed by a Dr - it just depends on the individual and what they need

If you've taken 2 by mistake, I wouldnt worry babe x

    Melbi,

I didn't seem to have that burst of energy this morning, I did quite a lot of work but didn't feel the buzz that I had for a few days there.

I went to a theatre play last night (that my girlfriend is in) called Sweet Charity - was a great night (over 2 hours) and felt very relaxed and not at all nervous going down to it smile

    Well done Ghost :D

Don't worry too much about not having that 'extra' step this morning - even people who are not suffering this terrible illness have the occasional off days.

We are permitted to also have them

I'm off out now for the day but will be back around 4pm.

    Take it easy

    Love Melbi xxx
