I'm on mirtazapine 30mg! What do I do when I finish the course? Should I ring doctor for some more?

Depends on whether or not you feel you still need them. Danger of becoming dependent on these medications but if you discuss your progression with a GP or a mental health specialist then you'll know. Good luck 👍🏻

Hi Kerry .. agree with David's reply.

Wishing you all the best, one thing though I've always been weaned of antidepressants (I'm guessing that's what you're on as I have never heard of that drug living in Australia we have all different names than alot of meds in other countries)

      Take care... Tracey

Yeah 1 months prescription!! They do seem to be helping me so far! When I am nearly finished the course of the prescription, how should I ask the doctor for more?

Return to doctor and let him assess your situation, if he feels you need more medication then he will prescribe. Let the professionals help you determine the right course of action, only through discussion, there can be progress
