Why did you have to stop taking your medications in the first place?  Was this recommended by your doctor?

I highly recommend follow up with your doctor.  Good you taking the medication again, don't stop taking unless your working with your doctor to taper off of it.  Follow up with you doctor to discuss stopping and and starting again.  You can discuss with him on what you should do.  Continue taking, possibly up your dosage.

Find ways to relax before you go to bed.  Read a book, or maybe do some word search or crosswork puzzles.  Believe it or not, I do coloring some times with adult coloring book.  You could also listen to some relaxing music, like classical, or soothing sounds.  I have a sound spa, it makes beach sounds of crashing waves, rain, stream, etc.  I have read on here people taking hot baths to relax muscles etc. before going to bed.  Hope this helps.
