Which continuous combined hrt, help!

I have been on femoston 1/10 for six years, which brought back monthly periods again, now I'm nearing 54, have read can change to continuous combined hrt with no periods. My doctor is no help, has anyone any advice as to which one would be a good one to change to please. Or should I just carry on with Femoston?

    Hi,

if you have no other meno symptoms stick with what you are on. My doctor changed my hrt last July, because of my age, and I have been to hell and not quite back yet with every symptom you can name, plus a few others! Five different hrt types were tried and I am now back on what I had originally. I have had internal scans, biopsies and been prescribed anti depressants, sleeping tablets, and beta blockers over the last number of months. Having a monthly period is much better than all the other issues, so stay with it and enjoy your life. You will have read of the many problems other ladies on this site have. Believe me, you don't want them!

Thank you! I wasn't sure it was ok to keep having periods at an older age, but sounds like it's best option! Am happy and well on femoston!
