White skin patches on penis

Hello I am 25 years old man, I noticed these spots appeared on penis but dont know what it is exactly. My gp said its nothing to be worried about. I am suffering from phimosis(tight foreskin), and i think that could cause the white patches of skin, but not sure.

    Hey Chris

If the doctor told you it is nothing to worry about don't worry. It looks like it has something to do with the pigments in your skin.

That would have nothing to do with your Phimosis.

    Have a great day....Ken

I would take a more cautious approach - try to arrange an appointment or consultation with a Dermatologist as soon as you can to have the white patches checked.

As Ken states, this issue with your skin is very unlikely to be linked to your phimosis - but it is possible you have a separate condition linked to this. (photos of your foreskin above and below your penis would help with this)

Have you tried regular stretches to your foreskin to help overcome the tightness?

Do you think this could be lichen sclerosis? Or could this be cancer? The spots overall dont cause any pain, itchiness, they just appeared there i dont know why.. Well my foreskin is so tight it wont even attract in flaccid state, but I am doing stretching excercises now yes..

The unique quirk with Lichen Sclerosus (LS) is that it does NOT develop in areas where there is hair present on the genitals, or elsewhere on the body for that matter.

On the penis therefore, it is typically limited to the head / glans and the foreskin, and the upper part of the shaft where no hair is present.

The symptoms you have therefore requires a Dermatologist to determine precisely what it is that is going on. It is very unlikely to be cancer, but if this is an actual condition, the longer it is left untreated most often adds to the severity and difficulty and length of treatment.

In case you are unaware, and for other readers the best source of straightforward information on stretches for a tight foreskin can be found with the following search terms:
