    I haven't tried this myself yet (just recently self-diagnosed diverticulosis and haven't gotten to the pharmacy to purchase this item yet), but I've seen other people recommend activated charcoal to reduce/eliminate the gas. Have you tried that? In the US, we have health-food stores and also stand-alone juice spots that offer a charcoal lemonade, which I've used to control diarrhea, and it's not bad tasting.
