Ive been to the dentist and they said because its so early in growing they are unsure if it will grow into another tooth or not so untill that is revealed what can i do to releave pain?

Well, they might not need to be removed. All depends on whether or not they straighten up and stop butting into the neighbouring teeth. I know many dentists believe all wisdom teeth should be removed anyway. I resisted this as a young woman and still have all mine. One even shifted forward a bit when I had the neighbouring molar removed in my late 40s, and is now a useful tooth!
However, I don't think Josh should wait too long. If the wisdom tooth is growing in totally the wrong direction it could displace the tooth next to it and cause all kinds of problems.

I've never heard of Dentist say such a thing. To me that seems kind of weird to make you wait in pain to see which direction the tooth is going to come in. I think I would go to another dentist. But like the other poster said oil of clove is a good pain reliever for your mouth the only problem is you're going to have to reapply it constantly
