see below just wondering if its normal to have small bumps at back of throat. they don't hurt at all. i have been recently screened for STDS so get that out of the way haha. have read maybe oral thrush but have used listerene every day. i also get tonsil stones i push out and I usually always have a canker sore.

I have them too... for about the last 2 months. It started when I had a bad bout of acid reflux. Apparently the acid can sometimes reach the back of your throat and inflame your tastebuds. One in particular is quite sore, and my neck even aches. Been to the doctors and he's testing me at the minute for some gastro thing, not sure tbh. Do u burp a lot, or have slight chest pain? If so, might b worth having it checked out...

Doesn't look too alarming honestly, enlarged tastebuds or allergies ? I had red bumps in the back of my throat and it turned out to be severe allergies.

Hi Kacy,
Do u mind me asking how u narrowed it down to allergies, and how u were tested???

I just went to my primary doctor, I saw and ENT Specialist but told me that my tongue was normal.. I had another appointment for a second opinion but I ended up not going because I felt as if i was going to be told that there was nothing wrong with my tongue.

The ent specialist also had suggested that it was acid reflux and that i could possibly be getting it during the night while i sleep and suggested a specific pillow for me. Sorry im all over the place with this.. The ENT Specialist wasnt helpful at all.. dissapointing

Hi Kacy,
Thanks for getting back to me... ye, it's a weird one. My first ENT said the same thing, but I'm 2 and a half months with them now, I'm on prescription antantacids and nothing seems to b helping. One taste bud in particular is quite sore and feels like a pinching sensation on the back of my tongue, and sometimes my neck aches, but I can't tell whether I'm creating symtoms with my stress and anxiety over it. I've made another appointment with a private ENT for a couple of weeks time for a second opinion. I can't imagine it'll clear up before then, seen as it's already there so long. What's the type of pillow that was recommended to you??? Or if u have any other remedies, they'd b much appreciated...
