I've currently just started accutane for acne (about 1 week in) and I have some blisters on my foot that im worried will get infected. im currently in the Philippines and this happened last time and led to an infection that required doxycycline. will the accutane clear and minor skin infection if this develops or will I need to go on antibiotics as well? thanks in advance!

You may have a fungal infection called athlete's foot or a secondary bacterial infection in your foot. In many cases, accutane can lead to athlete's foot and cause itchy or painful blisters between the toes, or on the foot. I recommend you see your doctor and ask them for an oral anti-fungal and topical anti-fungal. I know fugacil cream can help to cure a fungal infection very well. You can try it for relief.
