I took Prozac many years ago with excellent results and no side effects.

I have tried 8 AD since  last March , All with terrible side effects and withdrawal.

This is week 8 on Prozac and I have had a few good days  with the help of Clonazpan.  I am in bed most of the time.

I think we have to stick with it if we want to get better. 5 weeks is still early. You should see some improvement soon. Stay in touch and keep us up on your improvement.

    Brenda,

I was on Sertraline for over 5 weeks, and could not tolerate the side effects.  I had to switch, this seems better.  I usually have to take something for the anxiety, but so far on 3rd day without anxiety med, so I think that’s a good sign.  Every day is different, so never know what to expect.  I’m on 6th week of Prozac, seems like it’s been more consistent the last few days. Hang in there.
