Worried I have genital herpes

Advice welcome.

Yesterday morning I woke up and felt really sore. Like i had been punched hard between the legs. I had a nice warm bath and throughout the day I because very sore and itchy. My vaginal lip became red and swollen and little spots/bumps appeared which are so painful to touch. They sting and almost burn. This is the 3rd time this has happened within the last year and a half. Orginally I thought it was caused by a hair but now I am getting worried I have genital herpes. I have enclosed a photo of how it looks today. I am not as swallon but i still have very painful spots. Thoughs please of what it could be and any advice how to treat it.
