yea..always when my anxiety is raised..I feel more pain in arms, feet and head.

I think the cure is to be anxiety free...which if we do the right things..exercise...eat right...drink plenty of fluids (no joke)...anxiety lessens.

but its very hard to do all those things on a sustained basis.

Hi Robert, yes all the time, I actually think it just the anxiety making you notice or become very sensitive to normal body twinges,

The more you fixate on the pain the more it hurts, catch 22,

yes.. i tend to hear about serious illness and think i have them until im still alive the next week and realise i havent lol. it is because people who suffer from health anxiety are more intuned with there body and then any slightest feeling becomes increased by anxiety which the can cause panic and then comes heart palpitations shortness of breath etc etc... my doctor did say lay off the caffeine as this tends to make anxiety worse. hope it gives you a sense of relief knowing you are not alone smile

Yes! If I am having a normal day and I feel a random pain my anxiety kicks in. Then I make it worse because I Google symptoms and start to feel more pains. I think it works both ways. Sometimes a pain causes my anxiety and sometimes my anxiety causes random pains.

Same here, but am trying now to stop googling everything, I know it can put your mind at rest but iit can also frighten you silly. .

I understand though how you feel, I am trying now to ignore the pains as much as poss, I think we have a heightened awareness of every little twibge that others wouldnt even notice.
