Worse pain now than before

Hi, I am 47 years old, and was diagnosed with Lyme Decease about 2 months ago.  I believe I have had the decease for 8-10 years.  I was put on antibiotics for 30 days and I am scheduled to see my doctor in 1 week.  I feel so much worse now than before.  I have a lot of pain in my joints, fingers, feet, wrist, elbows, back, neck and pretty much all over.  I also have ringing in my ears.  I read about the herx reaction.  But I have been off the antibiotics for over 3 weeks.  Does anyone else feel like this?

Ringing in my ears started 2 weeks into Doxy.  Hasn't stopped since finishing the Doxy in Feb.   Other things get better over time as the body's immune system settles down.  You should expect to struggle a bit until the third or fourth month when you will start to see some improvement.

I had a spinal tap yesterday to rule out CNS Lyme.  I still don't feel myself after 6 mos. having finished abx.

Thank you so much for your response.  It's good to know that with time things will get better.  I hppe everything goes well for you with your spinal tap, and a complete recovery from Lyme decease.
