Wrong Abbot Symphoy lens implanted

Hope someone can help me shed light on my situation. Sept 25th 2017 I had a
model ZXR00 diopter +25.5D SE 13 mm and 6mm implanted in my left eye since I was wearing contacts that where +300 bc 8.6 dia va D 20/30 and a +200 bc 8.6 dia 14.00 va d 20/30. Since than I had horrible pain in my left eye, nauseous, unbalance and unable to see distances, have major halos, and fog like vision which now I am afraid to drive once it starts getting dark. My eye doctor said the surgeon put the wrong lens in my eye. Now the surgeon said I had all these issues and need the right eye done to balance out so I was convinced to have that one done on Oct 9,. My vision is still the same.
Don't know what to do. I'm trying to find another specialist for another opinion. How can I find out for sure if he did implant the wrong lens? Is there a chart or etc to check what lens should have been inserted or ? Is there someone out there that can tell me what I should be looking for to find out the truth so I know what I have to do in order to get this fixed. I don't trust this surgeon now and will have to find out the truth first or have some kind of info. Can someone help me????

I can relate to you...I also had the wrong multifocal lens implanted in my left (dominant) eye. I complained to the surgeon and she suggested I get that eye lasered. What she did not tell me is once the eye with the implanted eye is lasered it is too risky to remove that lens. I would have had it removed if I had been informed. I would not let her touch my second eye. I went to the University of Utah and was told by the surgeon that I was now nearsighted...before my surgery I was not nearsighted. He put a multifocal lens in my right eye that would compliment my left eye...or as he put it "something I can live with". It has bee 4 months since the second surgery and my vision is still not good. I play tennis and struggle to see the ball early. I have heard it takes time and I am trying to be patient but it's not easy. The second surgeon says there is a clinical trial now for fixing the multifocal implanted lens without removing it. My vision not bad enough to get into the study because my right eye is 20/20. My problem is my eyes are so different that they don't work together. The only vision thats ok is mid range..and I still need reading glasses

First off, I feel really bad about your situation and hope that you can get it corrected.
During the past fortnight I had Symfony toric lenses inserted in each eye with excellent results.
My surgeon was #1 in his class at Harvard and also graduated near the top of his class at Duke Medical school.
He's in Denver CO (1666 S. University Blvd); he's been practicing for over 20 years; and he's a really nice guy.
I don't think that "Patient" allows me to refer him by name, but if you can visit or consult with him, he might well be able to help you.
Giving specific technical advice about your lenses is way above my pay grade unfortunately.
Every good wish to you, Carol.
