Tests / Investigations

In modern medicine there are lots of investigations available to assist diagnosis, or carry out screening. If your doctor has suggested that you have an investigation and you are unclear as to what is involved, this is where you can find information to help you. Our doctor-authored leaflets contain information on investigations such as various blood tests, colonoscopy, DEXA scans or liver biopsy. In each leaflet there are answers to questions such as "How is an MRI done?", "What do the results mean?" or "What happens next?" Even if your doctor has explained these to you, it can be reassuring to be able to read reliable information again.
