To encourage young people to see their GP or nurse the ‘Talk to Us’ initiative has been launched by the Royal College of GPs’ Adolescent Health Group. The Group aims to promote young people’s right to confidentiality - especially the under-16s - and to encourage them to talk to the doctor or nurse about their problems. This leaflet is intended to explain to adults why healthcare professionals might need to see a young person on their own.
If you wish to print out this leaflet we suggest you do so from the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) website.
