Ingredients for Blackberry-basil mule

  • 120 g sliced ginger

  • 100 g coconut sugar

  • 180 ml filtered water

  • 120 g blackberries

  • 3 fresh basil leaves, chopped

  • 1 lime, juiced

  • 240 ml sparkling water

How to make Blackberry-basil mule

  1. Add the ginger, coconut sugar, and water to a saucepan.

  2. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

  3. Remove from the heat and let cool for 1 hour.

  4. Strain out the ginger using a fine sieve.

  5. Divide the blackberries and basil between two glasses and muddle them into the bottom.

  6. Squeeze the juice of half a lime into each glass.

  7. Add 3 tablespoons of ginger concentrate to each glass, followed by 125 ml of sparkling water, and mix to combine.
