Ingredients for Middle Eastern limonana
360 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice (from about 9 lemons)
180 g mint leaves, loosely packed (from about 20 stems)
200 g caster sugar
960 ml still water
Ice cubes
How to make Middle Eastern limonana
Combine the lemon juice, mint, sugar, and 120 ml of water in a blender. Blend until fully liquid.
Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, reserving the liquid and discarding the solids.
In a pitcher, stir together the mint mixture and the remaining 840 ml of water.
Serve over ice cubes.
