Blind Children UK (formerly the National Blind Children's Society (NBCS)) supports children with visual difficulties and their families. Blind Children UK offers independent expertise, information and support to the child from the moment they are diagnosed visually impaired, through their educational years and up to the age of 25. NBCS's mission is to enable children who are blind or partially sighted to achieve their educational and recreational goals. They offer five key services:

  • Family support and information.
  • Movement Matters - training in mobility and life skills.
  • Access technology and grants.
  • Recreation activities.
  • CustomEyes® books - tailor made large print books.
