The Clinic for Dissociative Studies was established in 1998, and is one of the few national centres of specialist expertise in the care and treatment of people with dissociative disorders.  It is not an NHS clinic but may be commissioned by the NHS and local authority services to provide diagnosis, outpatient treatment, clinical supervision and training.

The Clinic does not treat patients privately but only via NHS referral, which is usually made by a patient’s GP or an NHS consultant psychiatrist in their local area.
