Littledale Hall Therapeutic Community (LHTC) is a 31 bed residential addiction treatment centre for people over the age of 18 whose lives have been adversely affected by their addiction. The hall, situated close to Lancaster, is a grade ll listed building set within beautiful grounds and open countryside. This location, away from everyday distractions provides a safe and supportive setting, which promotes opportunities for people to explore and address psychological, emotional and social issues that can help them to recover from their addiction.
The treatment provided at LHTC takes into account the complexities of addiction. They recognise that addiction is frequently a feature of people’s life experiences and the duration of treatment is very much personalised and dependent on individual need.
The treatment at LHTC has been specifically designed to support and encourage residents to participate in a range of social therapies, psycho-educational sessions, trauma therapy and family focussed work, helping to develop confidence and self-belief to achieve an abstinent life with meaning and purpose.
