The Scottish Sensory Centre promotes and supports new developments in effective practices in the education of children and young people with sensory impairments (visual, deaf and deafblind). It works in collaboration with education professionals, voluntary organisations, parents and young people.
The Centre organises short courses and produces a regular newsletter and other publications and videos. Bibliographies and resource documents are available online. A postal lending service enables access to a specialist collection of books, videos, etc.
Please note that the Centre staff regret that they cannot deal with individual enquiries, except from people in Scotland, regarding visually impaired, deafblind and deaf young people in the 0-19 age group.
