About 6 weeks ago I had a splenectomy due to rupture during aortic aneurysm surgery. Two weeks later I developed an Acute GI Bleed. I was given blood and am being treated with gastric medication, which seems to be working very slowly. Has anyone else had this problem? Just wondering if it has anything to do with the splenectomy or if it is a completely different problem?
