Adrenal tumor symptoms

Light headedness, a little dizzy sent me through battery of tests for stroke etc (family history). All normal. Last blood test showed normetanephrines at 199 (range 0-144 normal) and metanephrine plasma at 99 (0-75 normal). I have sudden high BP (for me) and headachy. May be adrenal tumor. Anybody made this journey already? My MD referred for appt with Endo- MD three mos. away. Seems like sooner might be better.

I think it would be better for you to see an specialist sooner. Insist, say you do not feel well...

Hi, 4 years ago I was diagnosed with a Pheochromocytoma. (tumor on my adrenal gland), which is apparently very rare. for 3 years leading up to this, i was getting strong heart palpitations, sweating profusely, sharp pains in my head, chest pain, tiredness, high blood sugar, high heart rate and extremely high blood pressure. Thankfully with the proper specialist i was put on special blood pressure meds and had the tumor removed. (major surgery though). After it was removed, ALL symptoms were gone! and only a sliver of my adrenal gland had to me removed. Not sure if this is the same as you, but thought I'd share.
