Blood in urine

** in August there was blood in my urine on a routine urine test. It took until November to have a CAT scan. All I was told after the results were back by my family doctor was that I would need to see a urologist. I saw him he didn’t explain much, but said that I needed to have cystoscopy which I’ve never had I said if there would be some sedation or anaesthetic he said no it should be just uncomfortable. I am terrified of this and I’m having it on February 14 I live alone on the third floor, of a walk up apt building. has anyone had one this way and should I expect even more blood after I have the cystoscopy? kidney stones and infection have been ruled out**
