Blood Pressure

I always had a bit low of blood pressure but in April when I had my gallbladder out my bp went up to the high level. When I got home it started to drop and now a typical blood pressure for me is around 90/40 I have been to the doctor and he said there is nothing to do for it. I feel dizzy sometimes and work with children. Does anyone else have this issue and was it brought on suddenly? I can't find anywhere to post this in the drop down menu so I think it may be rare. Thanks for any advice.

90 systolic is on the low borderline for normal, 40 diastolic is low, so I'm not surprised that you've been experiencing dizzy spells.

Go make an appointment with another doctor and get a second opinion as that 40 figure is far too low.

May I ask, have you had your pulse rate tested?
