Bunion surgery - pain and numbness!

I got bunion surgery and my second metatarsal shortened on the 1st of August so its been two weeks. I had a-lot of pain at first for maybe 3 days and then it wore off and it was just the cast that was uncomfy. Since yesterday i have been having shooting pains where my bunion used to be, i have also noticed that the middle and base of my second toe is numb, the tip near the nail isn't.

Whenever i elevate my foot, its quite uncomfortable for me and makes my stitches tingle and my foot feel cold 😦 its having an affect on my sleep and mood, I'm taking ibuprofen for the horrible shooting pains but have an appointment for a dressing change on the 17th.

I just wonder if anyone else had experienced this and if there are any red flags!! Thank you 😃
