Bunion surgery swelling after 12 weeks

Hi! I am 12 weeks post op bunion surgery (scarf akin osteotomy). A much bigger op than first anticipated.

I have only been driving for the last 2 weeks as I have a manual clutch and found it difficult.

I still have quite a bit of stiffness in my big toe joint and get crazy swelling when I have walked for a while or been on my feet for a prolonged period of time. For example I went out at 1.30pm and got home for 3.30pm and my calf ankle and foot were swollen. Not pain but a little discomfort at times.

I am a nurse and have had to put off going back to work as I work 12.5 hours on a ward.

What's other people's experience with this surgery/recovery???
