Burnt Hair won't go away

I have 3c/4a hair. My hair has been smelling burnt after I dry my hair. It’s been happening for a couple of months. The smell lasts a few days. The smell has become so strong that people around me say they smell it and it’s not pleasant. I’m not sure if anyone has this problem. I wash my hair twice a week and I let it airdry. I’ve tried everything I can think of: Got a trim, Aphogee protein treatment, Olapex bond treatment, curlsmith bond salve, deep conditioner every time I was my hair, low manipulation - protective styles, no heat in my hair for several months. The smell won’t go away. Should I need to shave my head? Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions?

Try a paste of baking soda and work it into your hair before washing. Leave for 5 minutes, Wash out then wash hair normally. Some say it works so give it a try.
