Calf, leg, butt pain...any ideas what it could be?

Ok so I noticed this pain in my calf on Friday 07/03. It was sharp, very short probably lasted 1 second. It was right in the middle of my calf and at the same time that I felt it I felt a sharp pain very quickly in my shoulder blade (towards the bottom of my shoulder blade. After these sharp pains occured I felt a dull pain in my arm. That lasted for a few minutes. This occured twice on Friday and then once on Saturday. When it occured on Saturday I noticed my the bottom of my bottom kind of underneath it had a dull pain and that lasted for about 10 minutes. Sunday I didn't feel a thing not in my shoulder, leg etc. Monday I only felt it in my shoulder and the pain was about a 7-8 so I decided to go to the E.R. and they did xtrays but they didn't fund anything. They just discharged me with shoulder pain. The E.R. doc said it might be a musculoskeletal problem and that I should take Motrin and ice it. Monday night into Tuesday morning I could not sleep. I felt as if every time I fell asleep I we jolted awake. I finally fell asleep around 4am on Tuesday. Tuesday (today) around 9am I felt that pain in my calf, in my shoulder and my bottom. Its 10:17 right now and its slowly fading away. I don't have varicose veins (I know how they look because grandmother had them for forever). At work I walk around, bend, squat, lift, carry most of the time. At home I'm usually up and walking because I help my disabled father around. When I sit I could feel the pain, sometimes when I walk but not so much when I lay down. I just wanted to know if anyone has any ideas as to what this is. I'm going to the doctors today but I want to be prepared to any ideas.

I have random pains that hit everywhere (although I am in a state of chronic pain). These pains get my attention. I wish I knew what it was. I think once you hit a certain age especially, Dr's just kind of brush it off(I'm in my 40s). Also, I've been given the dreaded fibromyalgia 'label', and that hasn't helped. I worked very hard in my life, and its showing on my spine. Severe degeneration low back. Have you had an mri of your back. Im due for another one , my hips/si joints/sciatica is getting worse). Best of luck/Hope you find out what's going on.

Thank you. I hope I find the problem and solution to whatever is happening to me. My doc said its because of my anxiety that I pay a little more attention to those aches and pains, so I believe it to be something more serious.

Well you're not alone, I was told the same thing years ago. Hang in there.

Another thing I forgot, my Dr tested my vitamin d level and it was like critical low. I started taking d3 supplements and it did help some with the aches and pains. For a little while anyways.

Praying for whatever it is to show itself. I think it's spine related, or maybe I'm projecting😃been through a lot with this back o mine lol. Take care. Let me know if you find out anything.

I'm seeing my doctor this upcoming Wednesday so I will request for her to test vitamin deficiency and some other test in regards to the pain. I actually have not felt that pain recently, so hopefully it was all in my mind.

    Hi,

It really sounds like a mini spasm, an xray won't show it, you need a bone scan, for the pain i'd try an anti inflammatory + a pain relief and also see physiotherapist, if you're not careful this will detereate over the years because you can't cure this only alleviate the symptoms, trust me fella you really, really need to see a good back specialist or you'll finish up like me and you would not like to be where I am.

    I wish you good luck

Thank you, I see my doctor tomorrow, so I'll tell her about it. I haven't felt the pain recently so I was trying to forget about it. I have been having aches in my muscles but not the same pain that I described above.
