Carbimazole side effects

Taking carbimazole for 5 months, but started having side effects like gastric and itchy corner lips several weeks ago... Anyone experience this?

    No sorry I can't help but I didn't experience anything like this. Have you consulted your doctor?

      Thanks marta06089. I haven't seen the dr yet as the next appointment will be in 1.5 months time....

    i have read about people having problems when taking carbimazole for a long period of time and that scares me,I would give it some days if its getting worse or if the symptoms are not dissapiaring then you should IMMIDIETLY consult your doctor.

    I think itchiness and gastric problems are actually quiet serious and I would contact GP ASAP huny. Don't know why but I remember when I was on carbon reading something about carbomizole and itching that you need to go to doctors I think.... Sorry it was some years ago now. Good luck and hope you get better and cured completely. X
