It could be acid reflux but, as Anne posted, be sure to check with your doctor. I went a few days  with what I thought was bad acid reflux with plenty of chest pain. Finally my son called an ambulance and I was having a heart attack.  So take it seriously and see your doctor asap.

A doctor once told me, if ever you get chest pains, let us decide what it is. We are delighted to find it is only indigestion.  The one time in the middle of the night I had chest pains and coudn't lie down, it felt like somebody was sitting on my chest, it turned out to be fluid around my heart, pericarditis, anti immflamatories cleared it up over a couple of weeks, but they told me if I had ignored could have been alot more serious.
