Chiari and Insomnia—please help

Hi,

I had a borderline case of Chiari on MRI and was not officially diagnosed as the doc did not think it could explain my chronic fatigue, pain, paresthesias. However, over recent months, I have had worsening vertigo and the last two weeks have been the worst insomnia of my life--many days not even able to sleep at all. It feels like my whole nervous system is on fire and will not calm down enough to let me sleep even when exhausted. I have also recently been under a lot of stress/had a lot of anxiety and this may be burnout-related. My questions is whether or not this type of insomnia could be related to my chiari malformation ?
