Chronic Tension headache, with tender scalp.

For the past 11 months i've had headaches of varying severity almost every single day. 2-3 weeks after it started I had it diagnosed through an online consultation as a tension headache. However it's almost completely continuous. And from the beginning I had a severe case of scalp tenderness. To the point it was difficult to put my head on a pillow, and I would feel everything. I had severe nausea with it as well. Analgesics wouldn't work properly as well. Is there anything I should be concerned about? Anything that I can look out for? Anything I can or should do?
