coeliac disease - I still feel the same after months of eating gluten free

I was diagnose as coeliac disease and made changes and started to eat gluten free, I've been eating gluten free for 3-4 months now and I still feel no changes or improvements, I still get all my symptoms that I was having when I was eating normally and was eating foods with gluten?

Why is this happening?

hi mo, are they sure you are coeliac? this is really wrong! you must ask for more things to be done. it sounds like something else is going on..... i would look at your diet and see also if you are accidentally putting the wrong thing in it. it could be a sauce, bread, anything really but it could be something else. i hope you get more help.

3- 4 months isn't long enough.. it can take up to a year or more to heal

or.. you may still be getting Gluten in your diet..

what are you anti body levels now?

hi mo. hmm coeliac? are your doctor's certain? have you had biopsies and a camera? the biopsies will tell you the truth! ring your doctor's when they open on Monday, if you can wait that long then insist that you see a dietary specialist. good luck, keep trying, it's hard to adjust to but may get easier soon.

hi you don't say what your symptoms are.

i never improved until I went on the Haye diet.

I realise this is an old post..but I cut out all grains and all processed food. All grains have some form of gluten like protein in..and while nothing like as damaging for coeliacs as the wheat rye and barley group..they are still not great..particularly if you are very sensitive. Try that? hope you are much improved by now..hopefully you should be..the improvement just takes longer in some folks too.
