Coming off Amitriptyline 25mg after 21 years!

(76 yrs old) I never read any information on Amitriptyline, as it was prescribed for my "execessive salava". (als) a LONG time ago! Was considering taking Methylthioninium chloride Blue, and is why I wanted to be sure it was safe. Have been off Amitriptyline 3 days now, and no unusual side effects, other than seeming a 'bit off', for about 3 hours after I got out of bed yesterday. I have taken MANY otc herbs and medications over the last 21 years, but just learned about Methylthioninium Blue, and it is advised not take, while on Amitriptyline, as there may be an adverse reaction. Will give it 2-3 weeks, and consider it then. (Yes, I know, most als people only live 3-4 yrs, but I have never set-my-watch by doctors opinions! Never took the "Jab", as my doctor, nor her children never did, and have NOT had COVID! > .....Ivermectin, 21mg once a week, plus 15 supplements daily! Last Flu shot was in 1993! Bladder Cancer in 2008, and Bladder was removed, never CHEMO! I still am able to walk with walker, and my slurred speech is difficult to understand, but am without any pain, anywhere ..... Yes, I am very BLESSED!)

    Hello Morris85429

Congratulations on your stopping Ami after so many years.

Understand that you did not do any tapering, is it correct?
