If taking fludricortisone is it best to take last thing at night

    Hi! I have never heard this suggested, only that Fludrocortisone should be taken at the same time each day. You will see from a post of mine elsewhere that I sometimes, much more radically, go for weeks on end when I dont take any!

    My son has Addisons Disease and has to take this once a day. He was told that it's best to take in the morning. He takes it with breakfast. Hope this helps!

    I've been taking a tablet of 0.1mg of fludrocortisone twice a day for nigh on 50 years.

    One in the morning i.e. breakfast and one in the afternoon, say with a cup of tea around 4pm. I have never been advised to take a tablet at night before going to bed.
