I have pcos I have had regular periods up untill I got pregnant with my son . He is now 5 months old I had my period / after birth period after I had him , now 5 months on I still haven't got it . I've been taking test after test am not pregnant, my tummy is round as if I am pregnant but the test says am not I have loads of shooting pains up my side with my pcos recently, what is causing this please someone give me some advice am going out of my mind rolleyes

    I have PCOS, but the only symptoms I have are cysts on my ovaries, acne, and when it gets about a week out from my menstrual cycle my anxiety goes way up more than usual. I also have hair loss.

      I have some hair loss aswel .. am so confused I don't no if I could be pregnant I look as if I am but all neg tests . I had no cycle since I have birth 5 months ago I just don't no what else it can be my periods were always regular but they never came bk after pregnancy. Now am in limbo

      You need to see your doctor. It can take around 6 months for your periods return to normal. It's unlikely that you're pregnant due to the negative tests however there could be other issues going on. You also have to remember that your hormones have been unbalanced due to pregnancy, PCOS may affect your hormones returning to normal after pregnancy. Please get to your doctor so they can investigate.
